A new campus serving 4th through 8th grades for an independent school that emphasizes bilingualism, global citizenship, and a multicultural experience. The new campus is located in the North Beacon Hill neighborhood. Mayfly provided civil engineering site development, including stormwater management, grading, site paving, civil utilities, and frontage improvements. The site will manage stormwater by infiltrating stormwater through bioretention cells and a below grade aggregate filled trench. The existing site was depressed below all adjacent frontages and will be filled so that the first floor is level with the street corner. In doing so, the project includes a 10-foot site retaining wall and basement walls along two sides of the building.
