The Westlake Avenue Design addressed realigning existing intersections in order to improve pedestrian and vehicular circulation and identified potential pocket parks and environmental opportunity in the existing Denny Triangle neighborhood.  Civil engineering support included creation of a “Toolbox” of sustainable design elements as well as identification where these tools might be best applied.  Utility infrastructure realignments required to support the proposed plan were analyzed in order to develop a clear picture of design costs.
